Fuji FinePix JX660 Camera

Throughout your life, there are going to be moments to want to remember. You’re going to want to look back on photographs you’ve taken and reminisce the good times. Some cameras can never seem to capture that particular moment just right, it is either too blurry, the quality isn’t great, or the colouring is completely off. However with the Fujifilm JX660 16 MP Digital Camera with 3.0 Inch LCD’, you are sure to capture every moment exactly how it seems.

This Fujifilm FinePix JX660 Camera has a wide variety of features. These would include;

  • A 2.7 inch LCD display screen.
  • A 16MB CCD.
  • A 720P HD Movie.
  • A Fujinon Lens including 5x visual zoom.
  • It also has a Li-lon battery.

It is without doubt that this product has everything to need for a holiday to remember, or just a day out with friends. Although, just like every other product out there it is going to have its list of pros and cons. However, this will all depend on your own personal experience. Below is a list of pros and cons I came across while using this camera. These are my own views on the product so please remember your view may be different. Therefore, the pros I found with this product are explained as followed;

Pros:

  • The quality of the pictures is amazing.
  • The overall size of the camera is perfect; it fits into my bag without any problems.
  • The screen is big enough to see the pictures for what they are unlike some cameras where the screen can appear too small.
  • It zooms in enough to get the perfect view of certain locations and does not make anything blurry by doing so.

Cons:

  • I found the colour selection to be quite bland. There was not much to choose from. From my knowledge, the only colours I have come across are black and red. This of course may not be a problem to a lot of people however it would be nice to have slightly more options. Particularly for gift giving, the colours of a product can make a huge difference to the buyer.

Overall, I found this particular camera to work amazingly. Fuji FinePix JX660 Camera does exactly what it is supposed to do, the quality of my pictures now are increasingly better compared to my previous camera. The size of it has made it particularly easy to carry around and the screen size is perfect to review all the photos I have taken. As I’ve said, it would be great to have a bigger range of colours and if there are more than two colours, I’d like to be able to find them. However, this does not change my overall view of how spectacular this camera works. I would highly recommend anyone looking to buy a good quality camera for themselves or even as a gift for someone, this little product is perfect and without doubt, I would give this camera a five star rating.

  1. I’ve been thinking about getting myself a new camera and this looks like something I could really consider!

  2. I normally prefer Sony camera’s but this camera by Fujifilm is a pretty decent one. A 16 MP camera with HD Movie and 5X optical zoom. If you basically want a handy normal, day to day camera to snap pictures, its pretty good for that purpose.

  3. I had an old Kodak Easyshare camera that recently died for good. I have been looking for a nice point and shoot to replace it. This Fujifilm camera looks perfect. The 16 MP and 5X optical zoom will be a nice upgrade from my old camera.

  4. Sounds like a good camera from Fujifilm. I’ve had a few of their FinePix over the years, and it sounds like this one has solved some of the old problems I had (small screen, low megapixels). I need a new, small camera for out and about, I’ll have to go look at one of these in person!

  5. This has a lot of punch for such a small package. When I get a camera I want crisp videos and crispier photos. This is perfect for the photographer just starting out. Too bad that when I click the link to go buy it isn’t in my form of currency. As for the con. For me that isn’t really a con if I want a cheap functioning camera it could be pink for all I care. It just needs to be able to work.

  6. My last digital camera was a Fuji FinePix Z20 and it was amazing! I had it for years, and ended up selling it when I hit a rough financial spot. I’ve been on the lookout for a new camera, and this seems to be just what I’m looking for. Thanks for the in-depth review. I think I’ll be sticking with Fuji since I absolutely loved my last camera! Fuji really packs a lot of punch in a small package 🙂

  7. I bought a Fuji Finepix J50 back in 2007, and to this day I still have it! Yeah, it’s working fine and I don’t see why not it could still be working perfectly after other 5 years! So yeah, I’d definitely recommend this camera, Fuji offers amazing products and I’m sure this new model isn’t the exception!

    If I had the spare cash to spend… I’d definitely get this camera! I totally trust this brand, it’s just amazing. I took some of my best pictures with it, my old one is still working, but I definitely need an upgrade, this one will be my top choice!

  8. With the Fuji camera you get more bang for your buck. The price is reasonable for 16 megapixels and 5x zoom. Although my phone has a 16mp camera and can record 4k video but my phone costs close to $700. So with the Fuji camera you can take breathtaking photos on a budget. Since it has a lithium ion battery it is rechargeable so I don’t have to hunt for batteries when they go dead. If I was big on photography I would buy it for sure.

  9. Wife bought me this last year, I have had a modicum of success with, but I am struggling with panoramic mode, getting lots of distortion. Don’t know how to cure it.
